Demo Song: Engel der Ewigkeit (Angel of Eternity)
Composed by: Emoto (me)
UTAUloid: Kuaia (くあいあ)
I originally composed this song for doing a UTAU review of Kuaia, a new UTAUloid that should sound like a choir of 3 young girls (Angels?).
The voicebank has very limited sounds at the moment, though all sounds that are recorded have 7 tones. (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and the only sounds for the voicebank are: A, O, U, La, Lu, Ha, Fu, Ho, Wa and N.
It seems like that this voicebank is best used for ambient/classical themed song or as solo choir song.
The Pros of this voicebank: This voicebank has much realism, might be the first Choir UTAUloid that works extremly well, the range is extremly big and with the power of pitchbending you can give them feelings
that a normal choir vst/soundfont could never reach.
The Cons of this voicebank: The japanese sounds are very limited at the moment, Kuaia can only sing the sounds that I’ve listed some moments ago. Also, this voicebank is not compatible with vibrato or breath.
(You can use a slight vibrato on them to add a bit realism in the singing, though it would be better to not touch it.)
Recommended for this UTAUloid: Use instead of vibrato modulation, its a great tool to give this voicebank more realism. As well use as flags
as Y, C, F, H (very important) and g to add this voicebank more realism.
